 âDonât Wait to Get READYâ
The Storm Hit Our Family in 2003.
Itâs Still Hitting Others in 2025.
And the question remains:
Â
Will your daycare facility be a shelterâ
or part of the storm?
See How We Get Your Staff R.E.A.D.YInclusion isnât a trending topic. Itâs a lifeline.
And families like mine are still being told:
Â
âWe canât meet your childâs needs.â
The Pain Parents Remember Forever
In 2003, my daughter Kendall was asked to leave her daycare.
Not because she was unsafe.
Not because we didnât care.
But because no one in that center knew how to support an autistic child.
Her last week was decided for us.
They invited her brother to stay.
They told me Kendall needed more than they could offer.
It broke me.
And it's still breaking parents today.
Itâs 2025-Letâs Not Be That Daycare Anymore
Â
Iâm Tanyika Butlerâmom of Kendall, founder of
Kendall Autism Support & Consulting, and creator of the
R.E.A.D.Y. Framework.
I didnât turn that pain into a post.
I turned it into a program.
